NEON Labs Job Postings

Software Engineer - Backend

Are you interested in mobile gaming, social networking, and sports betting? Do you want to get in on the ground floor of one of the fastest-growing industries in sports and tech today?

NEON Labs is building sports betting-focused products that will change the way consumers interact with each other and sportsbooks alike. Our launch product, Mad Props!, is a peer-to-peer social wagering app. MadProps allows users to challenge their friends to props related to sporting events, political events, and pop culture while maintaining your ledger with users. Imagine a sportsbook layered on top of your favorite messaging app...

The sports betting industry is still new. Most products on the market are geared towards putting a sportsbook in your pocket, but the information on these apps is cumbersome and confusing to the everyday sports fan. This is why Neon Labs was created. To create fun and entertaining products in this space that the everyday user would understand and be able to play with their friends.

We’re looking for a backend software engineer to help us scale our apps, primarily Mad Props!, as we gear up for launch during the NFL and College Football season. Your primary role will be working on the API that powers the mobile apps and related sports data ingestion, including working with Node.js, Javascript, ES6, Express, Java, AWS, SQL, and NoSQL.

If you are interested, please submit your resume and brief answers to the following questions to careers@neonlabs.app.
